Laguna Surf Camp – Mancora, Peru

Laguna Surf Camp, located on the quieter end of Máncora’s rowdy beach, is a friendly and tranquil place to stay.  With cozy tropically-inspired bungalows, colorful common-area hammocks, and swaying palms, Laguna is the perfect place to chill out.  The location is ideal–only one block from the beach, and a five-minute walk to the town center.  It’s just far enough from the action to not hear blasting reaggaetone all night, but close enough to safely stumble home after a night out.

Laguna’s different-sized bungalows can accommodate couples or groups of any number.  Each has spacious bedrooms, a clean and modern bathroom, and a porch with patio furniture.  The courtyard is strung with hammocks and lit up at night for easy socializing.  A second-floor restaurant with ocean views provides a variety of breakfast options.  The welcoming and helpful owner, Pilar, is also a surfing instructor and offers lessons at a good price.  If you enjoy a laid-back vibe and falling asleep to the peaceful sounds of waves crashing ashore, Laguna Surf Camp will not disappoint!
