Charm of Cuenca
Cuenca is legendary amongst the travelers backpacking South America. Cuenca’s small-town feel, gorgeous colonial buildings, and relaxed pace of life make it a great place to bunk down for a while. Sit in one of the city’s many parks and watch life go by, or stroll around the city taking photos of imposing cathedrals. Baños, not to be confused with the Baños above, makes a great day trip. It’s a tiny town that can be reached by inter-city bus and is famous for having a large concentration of hot springs in a small area.
